What it is
Anti-wrinkle treatment is a prescription medicine, injected in tiny amounts to relax the muscles that crease the skin when you frown, raise your eyebrows or smile. The lines soften and your face still moves.
I’m an independent prescriber, so the consultation, the prescription and the treatment are all done by me, in the same clinic. Nobody is prescribing for you over the phone.
What to expect
Your consultation is free and has to happen before your treatment date. I go through your medical history, watch how your face moves, and agree with you what we’re aiming for. If it isn’t right or safe for you, I’ll say so.
The treatment takes about 30 minutes. Most people describe a quick scratch. You’ll see the lines start to soften within 3 to 14 days, and I see you again for a free review to check it has settled as it should.

Before you book
Will I look frozen?
Not if it’s done properly. The aim is to soften lines while keeping your natural expression. As Jodie put it: “not frozen at all, which is exactly what I wanted.”
Does it hurt?
Most people describe a quick scratch. The needles are very fine and the injections themselves take a few minutes.
How long does it last?
Usually three to four months. Regular treatments can help the results last, and I’ll tell you honestly when you don’t need a top-up yet.
Why do I need a consultation first?
It’s a prescription medicine, so it can only be prescribed after a face-to-face consultation and a proper medical history. Your consultation is free.
Is there any downtime?
Very little. You may have small bumps or redness where I’ve injected, which settle within the hour. I’ll give you aftercare advice on the day.
