PRP skin treatments in Basildon

What PRP is
PRP, or platelet-rich plasma, uses your body’s own growth factors. I take a small blood sample, like a blood test, and spin it to separate the plasma rich in platelets. It’s then worked into the skin to stimulate repair, renewal and collagen.

Often called the vampire facial. Microneedling with a Dermapen 4, with your PRP applied as I go. Good for fine lines, scarring, pigmentation and skin that needs a proper reset.

Cellular Matrix
Cellular Matrix combines your PRP with hyaluronic acid in one injectable treatment, to improve hydration, stimulate collagen and support your skin’s natural regeneration. It’s ideal for improving skin quality and elasticity.
Usually two or three treatments, four to six weeks apart, then once a year to maintain.

Before you book
Does it involve taking blood?
Yes, a small sample, just like a routine blood test. As a midwife, it’s something I do every day.
How many sessions will I need?
Most people have a course. For Cellular Matrix that’s usually two or three sessions four to six weeks apart, then once a year.
Is there downtime?
After microneedling with PRP, expect redness like mild sunburn for 24 to 48 hours. Cellular Matrix may leave small bumps or bruising for a few days.
Is PRP suitable for everyone?
Not always. Some medical conditions and medicines mean it isn’t right for you. We’ll go through that properly at your consultation.
