Filler dissolving in Basildon
If filler has moved, looks overdone, or just isn’t you any more, it can usually be dissolved. Including filler done somewhere else.
What it is
Hyaluronic acid filler can be broken down with an enzyme, injected into the area. It’s a prescription medicine, so it needs a proper consultation first, including any allergies. If you’ve ever had a severe reaction to a bee or wasp sting, tell me.
What to expect
It can sting a little, and I may massage the area to help the enzyme spread. It starts working quickly. Some swelling and redness is normal and usually settles within a couple of days.
Sometimes a second session is needed. If so, I’ll wait around two weeks to see how things have settled first.
People come to me when
- Filler has migrated above the lip line
- Lips or cheeks look overfilled
- There are lumps they can see or feel
- They want to start again with less
If something feels wrong after filler
Severe or worsening pain, skin that turns pale, blue or blotchy, or changes to your vision after filler anywhere are urgent. Contact the practitioner who treated you straight away, or seek urgent medical help.

A fresh start
Every face is different, and so is every result. These are real clients, shared with their consent.

What clients say
“…She is very competent and knowledgeable and will not try to sell you any unnecessary treatments. She will discuss what you want and is very honest about what will work and what won’t. I can completely trust her opinion and have loved every result.”
“I can’t praise Abbie highly enough. Being so nervous she totally puts me at ease, explains everything in detail and is extremely gentle. I have been visiting her since she started, through a recommendation from a friend. I would never allow someone to inject my face unless they were a qualified professional medic of some sort, so Abbie ticks all the boxes. Can honestly say I won’t go anywhere else now…”
“Abbie is an experienced qualified nurse. I trust her advice and really pleased with the results. But also importantly she tells me if I don't actually need something.”
Before you book
Can you dissolve filler someone else did?
Usually, yes, as long as it’s hyaluronic acid filler. Tell me what was used if you know. If you don’t, bring any details you have to your consultation.
How soon can I have filler again?
I wait until everything has settled, usually at least two weeks.
Does it dissolve my natural tissue?
No. It breaks down hyaluronic acid filler. Your skin’s own hyaluronic acid replenishes naturally.
