Lip filler in Basildon

Lips that suit your face. Subtle is the starting point here: you can always add a little more, and it’s much harder to take away.

What it is

Lip filler is a hyaluronic acid gel, placed carefully to add shape, balance and hydration. I mostly use Restylane Kysse, a filler designed for lips, and the amount is usually small. Plenty of my clients have 0.5 or 0.6ml.

What to expect

We talk first about what you want and what suits your face, and I take a full medical history. The treatment takes about 45 minutes, and the filler contains local anaesthetic to keep you comfortable.

Your lips will look bigger straight afterwards, because of swelling. It settles over the next few days and your real result shows at about two weeks. I check in with you after, and you can come back for a review.

Cold sores

If you’ve ever had a cold sore, even years ago, tell me. Lip filler can trigger one, so I may prescribe an antiviral to start before your treatment. If you have an active cold sore on the day, we’ll rebook.

Reviews

What clients say

“Always an excellent and professional service. I have full trust in Abbie and her knowledge. This was my first time having lip fillers and i put complete trust in abbie to advise what would work best for me. I couldn't be happier and would never go anywhere else. Thank you!”

Sophie Clarke

“Abbie is truly the best in the game! She will always make sure you get what you envisioned and more. Always makes sure I don’t get ‘filler blindness’ or overfill my face and is always so calm and reassuring, no matter the amount of silly questions I have regarding the work I am having done. Such natural and clean results every single time. Couldn’t go to anyone else! 🩷”

Questions

Before you book

How long does lip filler last?

Usually six to twelve months, depending on the product, the amount and your own metabolism.

Does it hurt?

The filler contains local anaesthetic, which numbs the area as I go. Most people find it much more comfortable than they expected.

How much swelling should I expect?

Some swelling for the first few days is normal, and it can be uneven while it settles. Your real result shows at about two weeks.

Can lip filler be removed?

Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved. See filler dissolving.

I’m nervous. Is that normal?

Completely. Lots of my clients were nervous the first time. I explain everything before we start, and nothing happens until you’re happy.
